Great Lakes Region CFA judge Mrs. Blanche Wolfram, shown in the December, 1957 issue of Our Cats (UK) Magazine. She's holding GALLAHAD'S CHARITY, a blue-eyed white Persian female. She was president of the Pittsburgh Cat Club, and a columnist for several magazines. She and her second husband, Raymond D. Smith, published Cats Magazine for numerous years.

In 1905, Gowanda, NY was the home of Mrs. James Conlisk, and her cats. In the early 20th century, it wasn't uncommon for cats to be housed in buildings separate from the home.

In November, 1924,there Hamilton Persian Society, was formed as a CFA affiliated club in Hamilton, Ontario. Per minutes of the first meeting below, their first show was planned for January 28-29, 1925 (see show ad)
